Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using ProEdge:Football. By creating an account and ticking the acceptance box, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About ProEdge:Football

ProEdge:Football is a youth football performance tracking application that allows players to log match performances, record voice or text reflections, upload match footage for AI video analysis, and receive AI-generated insights and personalised training plans. The app also includes a points system, a seasonal ProEdge League leaderboard, Player Path programmes, and a referral system. The app is operated by ProEdge:Football ("we", "us", "our").

2. Eligibility

To use ProEdge:Football, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old.
• If you are under 18, you must have obtained verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian before creating an account.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete their account and data immediately.

3. Account Registration

When registering you must:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Keep your password secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may sign in using your email and password or via Google Sign-In. Where you use a third-party sign-in provider, their terms and privacy policy also apply.

4. Free and Pro Tiers

ProEdge:Football offers a free tier with match logging and a first AI training plan included. A Pro subscription unlocks additional features including updated training plans after every match, AI Video Analysis, advanced Player Paths, and priority AI features.

• Pro subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis. Current pricing is displayed at the point of purchase within the app.
• Subscriptions are billed in advance and managed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) via RevenueCat.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where applicable.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable UK consumer law.
• Referral bonuses or free Pro access earned through the referral programme are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at our discretion.

5. Artificial Intelligence Features

ProEdge:Football uses third-party AI services to generate match insights, training plans, transcribe voice recordings, and analyse match footage. These services include OpenAI (insights, training plans, voice transcription) and Google Gemini (AI Video Analysis). By using the app, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content is for informational and motivational purposes only and does not constitute professional coaching, medical, or nutritional advice.
• AI outputs may contain inaccuracies and should be used alongside, not as a replacement for, qualified coaching guidance.
• Your match data, reflections, and — where you choose to use Video Analysis — video clips are processed by these AI systems. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
• AI Video Analysis is a Pro-only feature subject to a weekly usage limit (currently 3 analyses per week). Video clips are uploaded to Google's Gemini Files API for processing and are permanently deleted from both Google's servers and our own immediately after analysis is complete.
• We do not guarantee that Video Analysis will succeed for all clip formats or lengths. Clips must be under 8 minutes. Unsupported or corrupt files will not be analysed and your weekly quota will not be consumed in such cases.

6. Points, League & Referrals

The app includes a points system that rewards in-app activity (such as logging matches and daily logins), a seasonal ProEdge League leaderboard that resets annually on 1 July, and a referral programme. Points and league rankings have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be adjusted or discontinued at any time at our discretion. We reserve the right to remove points or rankings where we believe gaming or abuse of the system has occurred.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
• Input false, misleading, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
• Share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
• Manipulate the points or league system through artificial or automated activity.

8. Intellectual Property

All content within ProEdge:Football, including software, design, text, and AI-generated outputs delivered as part of the service, is owned by or licensed to us. You retain ownership of the personal performance data you enter.

You grant us a limited licence to process your data for the purpose of providing the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details of how we collect, use, and protect your data, and how to exercise your rights.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the app.
• AI-generated insights are not a substitute for professional coaching or medical advice.
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the Profile settings, which will permanently erase your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you via the app or email. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
